Yesterday, I went to Bodrum with my dad and a friend of his. There are not that many tourists around the place now, and being blonde is kind of a dead giveaway, so of course people would give me weird looks and try to sell me things *lol*
I played with my camera and took way too many pictures of stray dogs, but I can't help it, they are so cute! Here is one of them =)
We also found a boat that didn't seem to be doing so well. It sort of reminded me of a boat that was lying in one of the harbours in Bergen for basically the entire time I lived there. I would see it every day on my way to work and then back. They only had it removed about a month before I left. This one wasn't quite as old, ugly and broken as that one though...=)
After running around in Bodrum, I spent some time in a shopping center trying to buy at least some clothes to bring to Japan. Managed to find quite a lot, so I was happy =)
Oh, and I made cookies too, after running around in the food shop looking for rolled oats for I don't know how long (but I found some!). Thank you Ivy for the recipe for your yummy cookies!
Hmmmmmm, cookies....
ReplyDeleteAre those THE banana-oatmeal-chocolate-chip-cookies? Yummy...
ReplyDeleteChristin made them this Sunday and we ate them with Chiara, Elsa, HÃ¥vard and Michi. Well, we didn't eat all of them, of course, as we had 100+. The colleagues didn't mind having a cookie break at work, though... ;-)
Yes, THE cookies ^^ I love those cookies so much! My parents are now wild for them as well, so I might have to make another batch. I only made half the recipe, so I wasn't even near 100 cookies. Do you still have some left? I mean, normally you don't finish 100 cookies that quickly, but damn, with these ones anything is possible!
ReplyDeleteYes, wee have some left... but not many!
ReplyDeleteAnd they still taste good after a few days. A bit tougher, but very yummy.
