Comedies? Hmm...

I know I promised myself that the next movie I watched should be a comedy. I'm not sure I managed to keep that promise. Here is the list of my last 3 movies:

1) Chaos Theory. I like Ryan Reynolds, and the movie was funny, even though I can't say it was the kind of movie I was thinking about when wanting to watch a comedy. Like Christopher pointed out, Forgetting Sarah Marshall would have been more up my sleeve. Also, of course (what else) I may have cried a little. Not much, mind you, but a little.

2) Changeling. A real mood lifter...Based on a true story, involving disappearing kids, a mother fighting to get her missing kid back etc etc. Throw in a creeeeeeeeeeepy guy and what do you get? Tears, tears, tears darling!

3) Rachel getting married. Oh, my, god! Seriously, I don't know if I have stopped crying yet (I finished watching it maybe 2 hours ago).

I can recommend all of those movies though, I liked them. And as for comedy, I had saved up 8 episodes of One Piece, one of my favourite animes, and if anything can cheer you up, it's those guys on that boat! ^^

  1. Don't you like Jane Austen, Erika?

Here are two "mash-ups" that sound very promising... :)

1.) A book. "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies"

2.) A film. "Pride and Predator", which veers from the traditional period costume drama when an alien crash lands and begins to butcher the mannered protags, who suddenly have more than marriage and inheritance to worry about.

    Unbelievable... he he.
