With my new, pink passport in hand, I made it from Stockholm to Istanbul, where I met up with my dad. We didn't really do much, we walked around a bit, checked out this old bazaar and a mosque (where you got little plastic bags to carry your shoes, very sweet) and had some dinner under a bridge. =) There were loads of people fishing from that bridge, and all they caught were these tiny little fish, but still they wouldn't give up. Will try to find a picture of these persistent guys!
The next morning we caught a flight to Bodrum and drove back home from there. I am now installed in my little room, and try my best to avoid going outside where it is windy and rainy and generally awful ;)
Hey Erika,
ReplyDeleteso you made it to Bodrum. Nice. And you try to keep your blog alive ;-)I'm sorry for your loss. Die Maus would have been a perfect companion, she has a friend though who knows almost everything, a little blue elephant. But maybe hard to find in Bodrum. As soon as you arrive in Japan you can get a nice Hello Kitty, of course ;-)
Good luck, Sven
"windy and rainy and generally awful" ? Ha ha, sounds familiar! ;-)
ReplyDeleteAt the moment it's very cold, though, and all is covered in snow. Beautiful!
I know! Here I leave Bergen to get away from cold and wind and rain, and what happens? I just arrive in a place with the same conditions, damnit! Hehe
